With roots tracing back to the original San Francisco Sourdough Bread Company, this starter is crafted from a strain that has been carefully preserved and nurtured over the last couple of hundred years.
Known for its resilience and rich, tangy flavor, this versatile starter allows you to create an array of sourdough delights—from sourdough bread to pancakes, waffles, and savory treats. Each bag contains a very healthy 10 grams of dehydrated starter that has been slowly dried under low heat as to not damage the starter.
Rehydrating your starter is very simple and only takes between 4-5 days until your starter is bubbly, happy and ready to use!
